A key route in Lisburn is set to undergo improvements later this month.
Work will get underway on a £234,000 resurfacing scheme on Lough Road from Monday 17 October, running until Friday 22 December 2022. It will extend between A49 Magheraknock Road and Bresagh Road.
To facilitate the works it will be necessary to implement weekday road closures for the duration of the works between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
During these times a signed diversionary route will be in place using the A49 Magheraknock Road - Creevytenant Road - A24 Carryduff Road - Bresagh Road and vice versa. Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained at all times.
Road users should expect some delays and are advised to allow additional time when travelling in the vicinity of the works and are asked to comply with all temporary traffic restrictions.
