New Investment At Waterford Regional Sports Centre

Brand new floodlights have been installed at the Waterford Regional Sports Centre.

Approximately €260,000 was invested in the upgrades by the Department of Tourism, Culture-Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, and Waterford City and County Council.

Carried out by the expert team at Enerveo Ltd., the floodlight upgrade delivers brighter, clearer light to the football pitch, but will also result in energy and CO2 savings.

With the ability to deliver exceptional light quality, players and fans alike will be able to enjoy a better experience during matches and training sessions. The bonus is that the new installation will allow us to host competitive European u21 international matches as well."
