Northern Ireland-based contractor Farrans has been recognised with the highest membership level from the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
The firm was awarded Gold Status, reflecting how engaged they have been with the School.
Launched in 2012, the Supply Chain Sustainability School is a free learning environment, upskilling those working within, or aspiring to work within, the built environment sector.
It focused on 17 key topics of Sustainability, as well as addressing topics in Offsite, Procurement, Digital, Lean Construction, Management, People and FIR (Fairness, Inclusion and Respect).
Farrans achieved the Gold Status thanks to the following:
• Completing a re-assessment in the past 12 months
• Using at least 10 resources (or attend training activities or events) in last six months
• Demonstrating an increase in sustainability competence
• Sharing knowledge and experience with other members – either with a case study or speaking at a School event.
