Essential repairs have been completed on the water supply in the Kerry Pike area of County Cork.
Uisce Éireann deployed a crew to address a burst in a water main supplying 500 properties.
Dedicated water service crews mobilised and repairs were completed by 5pm on Sunday, 07 May. Typically, it takes two to three hours after this to restore normal supply to all customers affected by an unplanned outage.
Uisce Éireann Operations Lead, Niall O'Riordan said: "The repairs are being conducted as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimise disruption to the community/area/town and restore water for all customers.
"We understand the inconvenience unplanned outages can have on customers and we appreciate your patience as we work to return the water supply to homes and businesses as quickly as possible."
