Landmark Affordable Housing Scheme Launches In Limerick

Aspiring homeowners in Castletroy, Co Limerick, have been boosted with the launch of a new affordable home purchase scheme.

Led by Limerick City & County Council in partnership with Formation Homes, the Brú na Gruadán affordable housing scheme is a new development of 25 homes consisting of three-bedroom duplexes and four-bedroom houses with prices starting from €262,500 for a three-bedroom duplex, and from €290,000 for a four-bedroom house.

Aimed at first-time buyers and fresh start applicants, the scheme helps people on moderate incomes buy new homes at reduced prices. Through this scheme, Limerick City and County Council will take a share of the ownership in the home.
