Work To Commence On Road Resurfacing Project In Limavady

Work is to commence on a road resurfacing project in Limavady.

The work, on the A2 Ballykelly Road, is to begin on Monday, 26 June.

The resurfacing works will extend from Kings Lane, Ballykelly for 1kilometre westward towards Limavady. The resurfacing works will deliver significant improvements to both the structural integrity and surface quality of this busy trunk road between Londonderry and Belfast for many years to come.

To facilitate the safe delivery of the scheme it will be necessary to implement a full road closure. This will be in place overnight between the hours of 7pm and 7am from Monday 26 June until Friday 07 July.

During these times a signed diversionary route will be in place via the A371 Lisnakilly Road, B69 Baranailt Road, A6 Foreglen Road, A6 Glenshane Road, B118 Tamnaherin Road, B118 Woodvale Road and B118 Coolafinny Road.

The work is expected to be completed by 07 July.
