Repair work is ongoing following a large burst to a water main in County Meath.
Uisce Éireann is currently working to restore the water supply impacting customers in Crossakiel, Moylagh, Drumone, Newcastle and surrounding areas.
Due to the size of the burst, reservoirs have depleted to unsafe levels and crews are working to replenish storage levels and maintain supplies while repairs are being completed.
The water supply is expected to be restored today, 19 September.
Uisce Éireann is urging customers to conserve water to help restore normal water supply to impacted customers as quickly as possible.
