Contractors have been appointed to resurface two kilometres of the Aghory Road in Richhill.
Resurfacing work will begin on the 25 September, and is due to be completed on the 20 October. However this is dependent on weather conditions.
The road will be resurfaced from Brookvale Crescent.
In order to facilitate the works, the road will be closed on weekdays between 9.15am and 6.00pm.
A diversionary route will operate via B111 The New Line, B111 Annareagh Road, A51 Marlacoo Road and B78 Markethill Road.
Local access for residents and emergency services will be maintained although there may be minor delays.
