Mivan has opened applications for The Navigate Programme which provides a structured pathway for young people to kickstart their career.
The programme provides an opportunity for 15 to 20 young people to get involved with a breadth of disciplines including design, estimating, quantity surveying, production, planning and construction management.
Every year, 10 new apprentices are recruited through the Apprentice Programme which provides a dedicated workshop throughout the whole apprenticeship. Recruitment for the Apprentice Programme will begin in early 2024. Mivan makes up 20 per cent of its workforce from apprentices, student placements and graduates each year.
Karen Anderson, HR Manager said: "Mivan understands that supporting early careers is vital to the continuing expansion of our business and the construction industry. We offer a structured early careers programme which provides career pathways for apprentices, students, and graduates. If you want to learn in the best environment, I urge you to apply today and invest in your career."
Amy de Meulemeester, Graduate Digital Design Technician, stated: "I started on the programme in August and already I have learnt so much. I am working on a live project, which is helping me to develop my skills quickly. For any student out there thinking about applying I would recommend it without hesitation. There is a great culture of learning and development at Mivan."
The closing date for applications is 30 November 2023.
