Donegal County Council is seeking proposals from Developers to deliver turnkey social housing units to help meet the Council's social housing need.

The process is county-wide and proposals can be made for any town or village throughout the county, on lands suitable for housing purposes.

One of Donegal County Council's key objective is to provide high quality and sustainable social housing in areas of need throughout the county. The Council is looking developers to make submissions for one, two, three and four bedroom housing units. Proposals must contain a minimum of 5 units and can include:

• Completed units, including potential regeneration projects.

• Units under construction.

• Units to be constructed on suitable sites.

An Architect Led Design Team and a Construction Contractor with the necessary skills and experience will engage with developers to design, deliver, and certify high quality social housing in order to make a valid submission.

The deadline for submission is 16.30pm on 30 September 2026.
