Power NI has announced that it will sponsor the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland's (HSENI) 2024 child farm safety calendar.

The calendar 'Avoid Harm on the Farm' will feature potentially lifesaving farm-safety messages in rural primary schools and special schools across the country.

The four key dangers that the calendar focuses on is Slurry, Animals, Falls and Equipment.

The pictures in the calendar are the winning drawings from the calendar competition. A total of 78 schools entered and there were over 2,268 entries from pupils across Northern Ireland.

Over 28,000 copies of the calendar are set to be distributed exclusively to rural primary schools and special schools for children to take home.

Power NI supplies farms and commercial properties across Northern Ireland and is an affiliate member of the Farm Safety Partnership. This partnership helps the HSENI raise awareness about dangers on a farm and spreads their farm safety messages to keep people safe.
