GRAHAM To Upgrade World's Oldest Student Union

GRAHAM has been appointed by The University of Edinburgh to upgrade the world's oldest purpose built Student Union at Teviot Row House.

This Category B listed building which was built in 1889 has many historical features. GRAHAM intends to preserve the building's unique history and design whilst modernising it to meet the needs of today's student community.

The NI headquartered firm will also ensure a high sustainable standard of construction is achieved to elevate the building to modern-day standards.

The café and bar area will be modernised to create a new student community lounge, group workspaces, a wellbeing studio and a gallery.

The existing Library Bar, Dining Room, Debating Hall and Teviot Garden, will be retained.
