Steelwork Underway At GRAHAM Site In Downpatrick

GRAHAM has announced that steelwork is now underway at a new education facility on the Strangford Road in Downpatrick.

The new £33 million state-of-the art campus is currently being built and is expected to be handed over in Spring 2025. This new campus will be able to cater to 950 pupils and will modern classrooms and learning spaces, a sports hall, PE facilities and sports pitches.

This site on the Strangford Road is of particular importance to the GRAHAM team as a number of its employees live in the local community and some in fact went to Down High School in their youth.

Gary Holmes, Regional Managing Director for the GRAHAM Building North region, said:

"It is fantastic that we can be involved in delivering a best in class education facility that will mean so much to both our team and the local community."
