CITB NI is set to support Ulster University undergraduates from a series of Built Environment Courses by facilitating CSR Health Safety Awareness Training.
The training, facilitated through Training in Partnership Funding, will ensure undergraduates have the appropriate knowledge and awareness and achieve their CSR Health & Safety Trained card before undertaking their industrial placement with construction employers.
Barry Neilson OBE, Chief Executive CITB NI said: "We are delighted to continue to support Ulster University Undergraduates in preparing for their industrial placement year. The CSR Health & Safety Trained Card ensures the students have received the appropriate training for construction sites and provides proof of skills, competence and awareness, all essential for the students to enter the workplace safely and get involved in onsite projects straight away. We look forward to seeing these young people progress into industry both in their placement year and after graduation and wish them well as they finish their studies."
