Kildare County Council has sought feedback on a draft of a Local Transport Plan for Newbridge.

An initial 'Phase 1' public consultation survey was conducted in August and September 2022, gathering input on transport issues in Newbridge. This feedback has informed the development of specific measures in the draft Transport Strategy, which includes short, medium, and long-term improvements for walking, cycling, parking, public transport and roads.

The Council invites the public to provide feedback on these measures through a public consultation process. After reviewing the responses, the Transport Strategy will be finalised and published.

The online public consultation survey is now open, with submissions accepted until Sunday 15 September.

Additionally, an in-person event will be held at the Town Hall in Newbridge on Thursday 25 July, from 3.30pm to 8.30pm. This event will provide the public with an opportunity to review the proposed measures and engage with the project team.
