Galway City Council Announces Temporary Road Closure

Galway City Council has announced a temporary road closure on Tuesday, 22nd October, from 8am to 2pm.

The impacted area includes from the junction at Bowling Green to the junction of Abbeygate Street Upper (opposite Sally Longs), to facilitate the removal of scaffolding in front of Electric Nightclub and Abbeygate House.

During this road closure, temporary diversion routes will be in place via Bowling Green, although localised access and access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times.

In addition, advance diversion signage will be set in place before work commences.
