The submission deadline for the Dublin-based College Green / Dame Street Public Realm Project pre-design public consultation has been extended.
The City Council has announced the consultation will now stretch until midnight, Friday December 13.
This consultation, launched on November 14, seeks public feedback to shape the early concept and pre-design phase of this transformative initiative.
The new design will also prioritise universal accessibility, social inclusion, safety, sustainability, biodiversity and greening.
At this stage, no formal preliminary designs have been created. Before works get underway on the design, the project team wish to hear from the public on their experience of the current space, ambitions for the project and any feedback they may wish to share.
Once completed, all submissions to the pre-design public consultation will be reviewed by Dublin City Council and the design team.
Contributions will influence the team over the coming months as they develop the preliminary design for this space.
The public can participate online by completing the questionnaire.
Alternatively, the public can participate by post, requesting a printed questionnaire by contacting the project team. Address: College Green - Dame Street Project Team, Block 2, Floor 7, Dublin City Council, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8, Ireland.
