Repairs Made To Burst Water Main In Sligo

Repair works to restore water supply in parts of County Sligo have successfully been completed, Uisce Éireann has announced.

Some customers, in Grange East, Kilmacowen, Strandhill and the surrounding areas, experienced disruption to their supply on Wednesday (December 4) following a burst water main.

However, crews from Uisce Éireann managed to locate the source of the burst and, despite some difficult excavation conditions, successfully repaired the main on Wednesday evening.

The works are now complete and supply is returning to all affected areas.
