Dublin firm John Paul Construction has successfully completed construction works and handed over the new Abbott facility in Kilkenny.

This 30,000m² state-of-the-art medical device manufacturing building has been designed to produce life-changing FreeStyle Libre sensors, devices that monitor glucose levels and support people living with diabetes.

The facility was designed to achieve LEED certification, with the project as a whole reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency, while providing advanced spaces for manufacturing, sterilisation and engineering, alongside offices and support areas.
