A Tipperary road is set to close for a two-month period to facilitate the laying of new water to eradicate leakage and quality issues.
Tipperary County Council has announced the L-6301 Ballinard to Killenaule will be closed from 7am on Monday, January 13 to 7pm on Friday, March 14 while works progress.
Alternative routes have also been announced in advance, notifying that those travelling from Coolbawn to Rathkenny Junction are to be diverted on the R689 at Coolbawn Cross and turn at Crosscannon onto The New Line L2301, and turn right in Drangan Village onto the L2303.
This will apply vice versa for traffic travelling from Rathkenny Junction to Coolbawn Cross.
