NIE Networks has confirmed that while power has been restored to 269,700 properties, approximately 15,300 customers across Northern Ireland remain without electricity.
The company said its teams are working tirelessly to reconnect all affected households, with over 1,400 staff deployed, including additional support from external agencies.
As permanent repairs continue in the coming days, some customers may experience further temporary power interruptions. NIE Networks has also advised that its contact centre staff may reach out to customers to confirm supply restoration.
The company has assured the public that every effort is being made to restore power as quickly as possible.
Council Community Assistance Centres across Northern Ireland will again be open, and NIE Networks staff will be in attendance.
