Public Event To Discuss Design For Westmeath Active Travel Scheme

A public information and feedback event is scheduled to be held next week on the initial design for a new active travel scheme in County Westmeath.

The National Transport Authority (NTA), in conjunction with Westmeath County Council, have invited interested parties to attend the session at Athlone Civic Centre which will discuss plans for the Dublin Road, Athlone – Creggan Roundabout to Ankers Bower Active Travel Scheme.

The event will take place on Tuesday, February 11, from 3pm to 8pm. The initial design will be on display and staff/designers will be available to answer queries on the day.

The initial design will remain available to view and feedback comments will be accepted until close of business on February 21.
