Winners Of Chadwicks Annual Awards Announced

The winners of this year's Chadwicks Appreciation and Recognition Awards (CARAs) have been announced.

The CARAs brings together colleagues, branches and departments from across Chadwicks Group, Ireland's leading builders' merchants, for a night to celebrate and recognise their hard work and dedication to the business, their team and the local community.  

There were 13 award category winners on the night, Friday, February 14, with 350 Chadwicks Group colleagues in attendance.

Chadwicks Letterkenny was named Branch of the Year, with Chadwicks Letterkenny's Branch Manager, Thompson Bell, and the team recognised with the prestigious accolade for achieving one of the highest customer experience scores ever across all Chadwicks branches. 

Individual winners this year included Michael McManamon from Chadwicks Castlebar, who was named Branch Manager of the Year, while The Destination Brand of the Year award was given to Cork Builders Providers, Blackpool.

This year's Branch Colleague of the Year winner, Susan Kerrigan, has been with Chadwicks Group for seventeen years and she was honoured on the night by her colleagues for her impressive depth of knowledge, professionalism, and her positive influence on others to be their best. 

Commenting at the third annual CARAs, Patrick Atkinson, CEO of Chadwicks Group said: "I am excited to announce this year's award recipients at the third annual Chadwicks Appreciation and Recognition Awards and congratulate all our well-deserved winners. The CARAs are an opportunity for us to celebrate our extraordinary colleagues and show appreciation for branches and departments' hard work across our network.

• Health and Safety Award: Pat Ennis, The Panelling Centre, Furry Park

• Leadership Team Award: David Parsons, Chadwicks Group

• Branch Manager of the Year: Michael McManamon, Chadwicks

• Branch Colleague of the Year: Susan Kerrigan, Chadwicks Navan

• Yard Colleague of the Year: Paul Guinane, Heiton Steel

• Sustainability Champion: Damian Curley, Chadwicks Lucan

• Customer Service Champion: Barry Hackett, Cork Builders Providers, Blackpool

• Community Spirit Award (CSR): Chadwicks Clonmel

• Salesperson of the Year: Emmet Dalton, Chadwicks Naas

• Support Office Department of the Year: IT Team, Chadwicks Group

• Support Office Colleague of the Year: Jean Kelly, Credit Control Team, Chadwicks Group
