Galway Road To Close For Active Travel Works

A road closure is scheduled to commence next month in County Galway to facilitate works on an active travel scheme.

Rahylin Glebe, from the junction with Ballybane Road to the junction with Rocklands Avenue, will close from Tuesday, March 18 to Friday, April 4 to allow the works to progress along Castlepark Road and Ballybane Road.

Galway City Council has announced a temporary diversion route will be in place via Ballybane Road, Castlepark Road, Monivea Road and Rocklands Avenue, with localised access maintained at all times.
