A public survey has been launched regarding the Integrated Urban Strategy for Nenagh town centre in County Tipperary.
The Integrated Urban Strategy, prepared by architects Nicholas de Jong Associates, will:
• Set out a clear, visual and action-based strategy for the future development and revitalisation of Nenagh.
• Identify projects that promote the conservation and adaptive reuse of the built heritage while reducing vacancy and dereliction in the Town Centre.
• Address the prioritisation, development and specification of project proposals to create a pipeline of investment-ready public realm, built heritage refurbishment, renovation and adaptive reuse projects.
This project is an initiative under THRIVE, the Town Centre First Heritage Revival Scheme and is funded by the Southern Regional Assembly under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Regional Programme and Tipperary County Council.
Members of the community can provide their input to the Strategy by completing this questionnaire Closing date for submissions is March 21.
