Repairs Made To Burst Water Main In Longford

Essential repairs to a burst water main in County Longford were carried out yesterday (March 5), Uisce Éireann has announced.

The burst impacted customers in Forgney, Terlicken, Ballymahon and surrounding areas.

Expert water service crews were dispatched and worked to minimise disruption, with every effort being made to complete the work as quickly as possible.

Discussing the works, Uisce Éireann's David Gibbons said: "We understand how disruptive unplanned outages are and we regret the inconvenience caused. We would like to thank impacted customers for their patience while we work on repairs and restore the water supply as quickly as possible."
