An interruption to the water supply in Lusk, County Dublin, has been planned to commence from 9pm tomorrow (Thursday, March 13) until 6am on Friday, March 14, Uisce Éireann has announced.
This interruption will facilitate essential works to the water network which, as a result, will affect Ministers Road, Rathmore, Station Road, Chapel Farm and surrounding areas in Lusk. Up to 10,000 customers may be impacted by water interruptions and low pressure.
Discussing the works, a statement released by Uisce Éireann said: "Every effort will be made to limit the impact of these essential works and we would like to thank the community in advance for their patience and co-operation.
"Following the completion of the works, please allow time for water pressure to return to normal. It can take 2-3 hours for the normal water supply to return as water refills the network."
