Essential Works Commence To Facilitate Antrim Leisure Centre Project

Essential construction works commenced today as part of the ongoing Ballycastle Leisure Centre project in County Antrim.

The works, located at the entrance to Quay Road, include alterations to the existing vehicular access, storm offsetting works, street light column relocation and to enable a new filter lane to be installed at the site entrance.

To facilitate the works, Quay Road will be closed/ single lane for approximately 5 weeks:

• Weeks 1 and 2: Tuesday, March 18 – Friday, March 28, Full Road closure;

• Weeks 3 and 4: Saturday, March 29 – Sunday, April 13, Single Lane closure;

• Week 5: Monday, April 14 – Thursday, April 17, Full Road closure.

Residents and visitors have been advised to plan their journey in advance.
