Road Improvement Scheme Begins In Antrim

A £225,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme began yesterday (March 24) in Portballintrae, County Antrim.

The scheme extends along the Ballaghmore Road from close to the junction with Bayhead Road towards Ballaghmore Cottages and is expected to be substantially complete by Friday, April 4.

Discussing the scheme, Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins said: "This is a substantial investment for the Portballintrae area which will deliver significant benefits for residents and road users.
