Ganson Group will commence phase one of construction on Louth GAA's new stadium in Dundalk after a substantial funding package was secured.

An agreement to acquire the funds was made between Louth GAA and GAA Headquarters, with the new facility set to provide a modern, purpose-built venue that will serve the needs of players, supporters and the wider community for generations to come.

The construction period is expected to last approximately 16 months, with the stadium ready to host games with an initial capacity of approximately 6,000 spectators upon completion of phase one.

Phase one development will include:

• South seated stand (4,080 seats)

• Full-size playing pitch built to the highest standards

• Modern floodlighting system

• East and West standing sections behind both goals

• Car parking

• Auxiliary building for essential facilities

Development of phase two will commence as funding allows, featuring the North standing terrace, which will further enhance the stadium's capacity and facilities.
