Town & Village Renewal Scheme Launches In County Mayo

Expressions of Interest are currently being sought under this year's Town & Village Renewal Scheme (TVRS) and Project Development Measure (PDM) in County Mayo.

The TVRS is designed to support the revitalisation of rural Ireland through a renewed focus on town centre economic and social recovery and regeneration. This will be achieved by projects focusing on town centre regeneration, enhancing streetscapes and bringing vacant and derelict buildings back into use as community multi-purpose spaces through refurbishment and renovation.

The schemes are funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under Project Ireland 2040 as part of 'Our Rural Future – Ireland's Rural Development Policy 2021 – 2025'.

Expression of Interest forms and scheme outline are available here. The forms should be completed through the online portal and submitted by 3pm on Thursday, May 29.
