A series of supportive public drop-in sessions relating to grants available for the refurbishment of vacant and derelict properties have been scheduled to take place in Cork City, local council has announced.
These Vacancy & Dereliction sessions will offer insight to the public on a number of funding schemes, including the popular Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant.
The public have also been encouraged to find out further information on the following issues:
• Incentives available for property re-use;
• What to do if you own a derelict property;
• Queries on ownership issues;
• Any other vacancy or dereliction queries.
The first event will take place this Friday, May 16, from 11am to 1pm at Blarney Library, The Square, Blarney, Cork. No appointment is necessary.
Details on future drop-in sessions will be advertised on Cork City Council’s social media accounts.
