Cavan-Based Road Closure Scheduled For Resurfacing Works

An emergency road closure will commence tomorrow (Thursday, May 22) in County Cavan to facilitate resurfacing works.

The L3002 Kilnaleck to Crosskeys from the junction of Main Street, Kilnaleck and Church Road to the junction with the L3004 at Rockfield, will close until Tuesday, May 27, not including weekends, from 9.30am to 6pm as the works are carried out, Cavan County Council has announced.

Alternative routes will be in place from Kilnaleck, diverting via the R154 to Killyfassey, and the R194 to Ballyjamesduff, L3016 (Rassan Road) and L3004 to the junction with the L3002 at Rockfield. The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works. Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
