A charity golf day hosted by Northern Ireland construction firm Farrans has raised £10,000 for NI Children's Hospice.
The recent event was held at Dunmurry Golf Club and attended by Farrans employees and suppliers. The ultimate prize of the day, the Farrans' Golden Blazer, remained within Farrans with an impressive golfing performance from planner, Matthew Loughran.
Speaking about the success of the event, a statement from Farrans said: "Thanks to the support of our hole and prize sponsors we will be presenting a cheque to this fantastic organisation for £10,000. We know that it will go towards the excellent work they do to support children and families through extremely challenging times.
"We would like to thank all of our sponsors for helping us to achieve this sizeable donation total and also the team at Dunmurry Golf Club for a great event and impeccable course."
