A road closure has been scheduled to take place in Co. Tipperary to facilitate surface water drainage works, Tipperary County Council has announced.

The L2123 at Monaquill, Dolla in Nenagh will be closed from the junction of the R499 (Grace's Cross) to the junction of the L2125 at Killeen (Kennedy's Pub, Killeen) from 7am on Monday, June 30 until 7pm on Friday, July 11.

Alternative routes will include:

• South bound from Grace's Cross - Divert north east on the R499 to 'The Ford', south east on the L 6079 to Curraghanuddy and west on the L2126 to Kennedy's pub at Killeen;

• North bound traffic from Kennedy's pub at Killeen - Divert south west on the L2125 to Boherlody, north west on the L2122 to Griffins cross and R497 to Dolla. Then north east on the R499 to Grace's Cross.
