Drainage Works To Commence In Cavan

A five-day emergency road closure will commence next week in County Cavan for the purpose of drainage works.

The L2514 Corduff to Middletown Cross, from Middletown Cross to the junction with the L6553 at Corduff, will close between 8am to 6pm from Monday, July 7, to Friday, July 11.

Cavan County Council has announced alternative routes during the works, which include: From Middletown Cross, divert via the L2515 to Killydoon, and the N55 to the junction with the L2514 at Corduff. The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works and local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
