Braidwater Group Sites And Managers Scoops Award

Three of County L'Derry-based Braidwater Group's site managers and teams have received a NHBC Quality Award at this year's national Pride in the Job awards.

The awards celebrate site managers who have achieved the very highest standards in house building across the UK. It is the most highly regarded competition in the house-building industry and the most prestigious benchmark for exceptional site managers.

NHBC, the UK's leading new home warranty and insurance provider, recognised Braidwater Group site managers Allan Nelson (site: Cloughan View); Kevin Cosgrove (site: Beech Hill View) and Ryan Tannahill (site: Black Ridge at Glenmona) and their teams for the vital role they play in ensuring new homes are delivered on time, on safe sites and to the highest construction quality standards.

Ryan Boyle, Chief Operating Officer of the Braidwater Group, said: "Pride in the Job is the most sought after award in the house-building industry and congratulations to Allan, Kevin, Ryan and their teams on achieving the NHBC Quality award. Being selected as one of the UK's top site managers is a testament to their commitment to delivering quality homes for our customers.

"The Braidwater Group continues and will always strive for excellence, going above and beyond the assurance of building top quality homes."

Judging for the awards is rigorous with each site assessed across six key areas: Consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety.

From a field of more than 8,000, over 400 UK site managers have won a Quality Award in the first round of NHBC’s Pride in the Job Awards 2025, representing the top 5% of those who entered.

Commenting on the awards, Steve Wood, CEO at NHBC, said: "Congratulations to Braidwater Group site managers, who have demonstrated the dedication, passion and leadership skills necessary to deliver new homes to exacting construction quality standards.

"Thousands of outstanding site managers have made their mark on the industry in the 45 years Pride in the Job has been running. This continued focus on excellence is vital to support the Government’s 1.5 million new homes target and to ensure that all housing is built to the quality owners and occupiers should expect."
