Road Closures Announced For Various Wicklow Works

Various road closures have been announced by Wicklow County Council to facilitate essential infrastructure works.

From tomorrow (August 5) until Thursday, August 7, between 10pm and 6am each day, a section of Church Road in Newtownmountkennedy, between the junction of R772 / Monalin Road / Church Road and entry to Fishers on Church Road will close to allow for storm water connection for a new residential development.

Alternative routes are available via Monalin Road – Seasons Park Road – Church Road.

Additionally, from tomorrow until Thursday, August 7, between 8am and 5pm daily, the footpath on Lower Kindelstown Road in Greystones will close to accommodate pumped sewerage installation.
