The CITB NI student bursary award, aimed at encouraging school leavers to consider a career in the construction industry, is now open for applications. A total of 12 full-time, first-year students from across Northern Ireland will receive £1,000 each towards the cost of their training.
To qualify for the award, applicants must be studying a third-level Built Environment-related qualification at Level 4 or above with a Northern Ireland training provider. Following the completion of an application form, a random computer draw will select the successful recipients.
Barry Neilson OBE, Chief Executive of CITB NI, said the bursary is "fantastic support for undergraduates in their first year" and aims to encourage more young people to pursue qualifications in the sector.
Applications for the bursary will remain open until Friday, 17 October 2025.
