Coffey Construction, working on behalf of national utility Uisce Éireann, has begun essential upgrades to the wastewater infrastructure in Loughbollard to support growth and development in Clane, County Kildare.
The works, which are expected to be complete by early 2026 and are confined to the vicinity of the existing pump station sites, are taking place under Uisce Éireann's national Growth and Development Programme.
Speaking on the project, Uisce Éireann's Padraic Fitzgerald said: "We are delighted to be delivering these works for the community in Clane. These works will increase the capacity of the wastewater infrastructure, facilitating social and economic growth, including planned residential development."
Uisce Éireann understands that this type of work can be inconvenient and works crews will make every effort to minimise any disruption these necessary works may cause. Standard working hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
