New Leisure And Well-Being Centre Planned For Coleraine

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council is moving forward with plans to deliver a new leisure and well-being centre in Coleraine, County L'Derry.

The scheme, part of the Causeway Coast and Glens Growth Deal, will see the existing Railway Road site redeveloped with a modern, purpose-built facility.

A public consultation will run from Monday, September 8, until Wednesday, October 1. Local residents and stakeholders are being asked to give their views on the proposals before designs are finalised.

Information events will be held at Coleraine Leisure Centre, where design boards will be on display and council officers will be available to answer questions. These sessions take place on Wednesday, September 10 from 12pm to 2pm and again from 3pm to 5pm, and on Thursday, September 18 from 4pm to 7pm.

"I would encourage anyone who is interested in this fantastic project to take time to participate in the consultation process or come along to one of the community drop-in sessions to hear more."
