Cavan Road Closure To Occur For Resurfacing Works

An upcoming road closure has been announced to facilitate emergency resurfacing works in County Cavan.

From Monday, September 29, to Thursday, October 2, between 8am and 6pm each day, the R-200-0 road in Dowra will close 700 metres west of its junction with the R-207-2 for a distance of one kilometre westwards.

Alternative routes will be available as:

Westbound – From Junction R-200-0 / R-207-2 (Dowra) travel south via R-207 to Junction R-207 / R-208 (Drumshanbo), then westwards along R-208 to Junction R-208 / R-280, then northwards along R-280 to Junction R-280 / R-200 (Drumkeeran), then eastwards along R-200.

Eastbound – The same alternative route in reverse will apply to eastbound traffic. Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
