Farrans Sacyr JV has been recognised for excellence in construction at the 2025 CEF Awards, taking home two major accolades for its work on the Belfast Grand Central Station project with client Translink.
The project was named Infrastructure Project of the Year (above £10m) and also received the Overall Winner Award, with judges describing it as a "masterclass project that has set a blueprint that can be used on many other projects."
Adding to the success on the night, Rachel Tohill, a member of the project team, won Apprentice of the Year, with judges noting she is a "worthy winner who would be a future leader in the construction sector in the years ahead with a very bright future."
The CEF Excellence Awards are Northern Ireland's most prestigious construction industry event, recognising outstanding achievement across the sector for more than 25 years and celebrating the contribution the industry makes to the local economy and communities.
