County L'Derry-based Henry Brothers has been appointed as the contractor for the £37 million expansion of Momentum One Zero's innovation centre in Belfast's Titanic Quarter.

Construction has commenced, with completion and full operation expected by the end of 2027.

The new facility will significantly extend Momentum One Zero's existing base, providing additional laboratories, co-working spaces and high-performance computing capacity. It is designed to support research and development in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and wireless technologies, while enabling industry-led projects across health, agri-food, and net-zero sectors.

The project forms part of the wider £70 million Belfast Region City Deal, led by Queen's University Belfast, and will accommodate over 550 experts from both industry and academia once operational.

Professor Sir Ian Greer, President and Vice-Chancellor of Queen's University Belfast, highlighted the importance of the development for regional innovation and investment, while Stephen McCabe, Executive Director of Momentum One Zero, noted the facility's role in supporting industry partners with cutting-edge resources and expertise.
