Dublin City Council has officially opened 36 new social homes on Clonliffe Road, Dublin 3, created in partnership with Bartra and funded by the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
The A-rated development, comprising a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, has been designed to complement the surrounding streetscape and support sustainable, modern living.
The scheme was launched by the Lord Mayor of Dublin, Councillor Ray McAdam, alongside public representatives, Council officials and residents. Features include communal green spaces, proximity to local schools and crèches, and strong transport links to the city centre and wider areas. The development is now fully occupied, with a growing sense of community as residents settle in.
Lord Mayor of Dublin Councillor Ray McAdam said: "The official opening of this development here in along Clonliffe Road marks another important milestone in our ongoing work to deliver inclusive, sustainable housing across Dublin City. These 36 high-quality, secure homes will make a lasting difference to the families and individuals who now call this place home. This project reflects our shared commitment to building vibrant, well-connected communities, and stands as a testament to what can be achieved through strong partnership between Dublin City Council and the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage."
