FP McCann has been appointed as Principal Contractor for the Strabane Public Realm scheme, a major regeneration programme to enhance the quality, functionality and appearance of key streets and civic spaces.

The scheme spans several town-centre streets, including Railway Street, Derry Road, Castle Street, Market Street, Main Street, Butcher Street, Church Street and Bridge Street.

Planned works include high-quality paving and natural stone kerbing, carriageway realignment and resurfacing, along with earthworks, demolition, drainage improvements, new street lighting, utility diversions, signage, street furniture and soft landscaping.

These measures are designed to improve the sense of arrival into the town centre, strengthen connections between main streets and adjacent car parks, and deliver enhanced civic spaces at the heart of the community.
