Uisce Éireann maintenance crews are on site at the Glenade Water Treatment Plant this morning to investigate an operational fault at the facility.

As a result of the issue, customers who receive their water from the plant—including residents in Kinlough, Tullaghan, and the surrounding areas—are currently experiencing disruptions to their water supply.

James Melvin of Uisce Éireann assured affected consumers that all possible measures are being taken to restore a normal supply as rapidly as possible, noting that engineering teams arrived on site early this morning.

"We understand the inconvenience caused by an unplanned outage such as this and would like to thank customers impacted for their patience while crews carry out repair works."
