Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has announced a £175,000 carriageway resurfacing scheme on the B0080 Tattymoyle Road, Fintona, which will get under way on Monday 27 July 2026.

The scheme will cover approximately 545 metres between the C660 Rahony Road junction and the C661 Moneygar Road junction.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins said: "This substantial investment of £175,000.00 on the Fintona to Tempo route will deliver significant benefits for residents and road users. This demonstrates my commitment to investing in and improving our rural road network, which is vital for connecting our businesses and communities. I would like to thank residents, local businesses and commuters for their patience while this essential infrastructure work is carried out."

To facilitate safe delivery, a road closure will be in place on the B0080 Tattymoyle Road from the B107 Clabby Road to the B122 Ecclesville Road. During this period, a signed diversionary route will operate via B107 Clabby Road, A4 Edfield Way (Fivemiletown), B122 Murley Road, B122 Ecclesville Road, and B80 Kiln Street to B80 Tattymoyle Road, as well as in the opposite direction.

The Department has scheduled the works and traffic management to minimise disruption. While steps have been taken to accommodate local access, road users should expect some delays, allow additional time when travelling near the site, and comply with all temporary restrictions.

Subject to favourable weather conditions, the works are expected to be substantially complete by Saturday 1 August 2026. The Department will keep the public informed of any changes. Further information is available via Trafficwatch NI.
