Belfast Harbour has secured its first Green Flag Award for City Quays Gardens, acknowledging the park's role in offering an inclusive, well-managed public space for visitors and residents alike.

Drawing on Belfast's maritime and industrial heritage, City Quays Gardens is the first project in Northern Ireland designed to One Planet Living environmental standards, underscoring Belfast Harbour's focus on sustainable development.

The Green Flag Award programme, administered in Northern Ireland by Live Here Love Here, is the UK's national benchmark for well-managed parks and green spaces. The accolade follows Belfast Harbour Marina's Blue Flag Award earlier this summer, marking the organisation's second major environmental recognition this year.
