Mott MacDonald has been appointed to Iarnród Éireann's multi-party framework for project multidisciplinary consultancy services, in partnership with Roughan & O'Donovan.
The framework will cover advisory and design consultancy services across Project Management Procedures Phases 1-5, spanning project scope, concept and feasibility through to detailed design and tendering.
Mott MacDonald will provide multidisciplinary advisory and design expertise to support projects within Iarnród Éireann's capital investment programme.
The appointment builds on the consultancy's long-standing relationship with Ireland’s national railway operator and its involvement in a number of recent rail projects.
These include the nationwide CONNECT programme, the Glounthaune to Midleton Twin Tracking project and the Drogheda battery electric multiple unit (BEMU) charging station.
The new framework is expected to support the development and delivery of further rail projects as Ireland continues to invest in its rail infrastructure, with the programme aimed at improving connectivity and supporting communities across the country.
